Shinola Battery Replacement

changed the battery #371 in a Shinola Argonite 705 movement but watch not running after the change. The battery is held in by a long arm with a screw on one end and opposite are two upper clips. There is a plastic or mylar piece under the battery I've seen this set up on other watches and believe I must be doing something wrong. Is anyone familiar with this ? Should the screw be loosened on the retainer arm to remove the old battery ?

Two Casio GShocks and two Timex

I don’t really know much about these. I got these as part of a trade. The two Timex are missing parts of the bands/straps. The G-Shocks look in good shape. None have batteries. I don’t know if they work or not. They might make good parts for some one. Looking for 35$ shipped via PayPal.

I have an Alpina Large Startimer pilot automatic limited edition ref no. AL525X4SP6 with the original box (complete with the airplane model) I bought at tourneau in las vegas a few years back. I added an archer rubber strap as well as a rubber strap I bought when I bought the watch. The number is 1686/8888 in the series. The case is 44mm in diameter, I have recently decided that I am more comfortable with a smaller faced watch as I get older. The fortis spacematic day date with the all black face has caught my eye. I am new to this forum as a member, but I have read many a great article on it and I am not sure where else to offer up this trade. The Alpina was degaussed by Tourneau once since I bought it. I can upload pictures as necessary, although there are already plenty of them out there, this is the limited edition with the center seconds hand, not the subdial second hand and the small date at 3 o'clock. I appreciate any consideration my fellow watch nuts might give it.

Need help with information about this Cititzen

I haven't been able to find much anywhere concerning this watch that I acquired. Only thing I found was Citizen produced the movement in 2005 and was purportedly the smallest radio controlled movement in the world. Other than that...nada! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Vacheron Constantin real or just garbage?

Local auction house has this VC and I'm not sure it's genuine. First clue, cheap as heck! Two, serial number looks odd compared to what I googled. Third, "89010" when googled seems to find much more complex watches. Fourth, the engraved fonts on the back don't look "fancy" enough for a high end watch. I'm also not sure the general workmanship on the movement looks of high quality as a I would expect of VC. I've never purchased a fake watch or even seen one, so I'm a bit suspicious of good deals like this. I've got 24hrs to bid and if it is real, I'd love to have it!

For Sale is this bracelet that came with my new Chronomat 41. I took it off immediately because I always use a strap and deployant. It’s never been sized and never been worn so it’s full length. 20mm width at the lugs. Just beautiful. I believe they retail for $1500. Aftermarket deployant clasp for Tag strap?

G'day folks.

I own a Tag Carrera day date (older chrono model). It's on the stainless bracelet but I'd like to replace it with a 22/20mm thick leather strap. I have this strap incoming from Ebay (clasp thickness is 2.6mm). Strap is idential to stock Tag/Breitling leather straps that dont have a "hole".

Can someone pls suggest or guide me to a aftermarket clasp that will take this strap? I checked out deployant clasps on amazon but most only take thinner straps. Tag clasp at my local dealer is $235!!

i bought it from helson for $70 to swap out, but i sold the watch. but i found out the insert will fit directly into a seiko skx bezel. it is a lumed aluminum insert, crazy bright lume too/ comes with 3M adhesive also, i will also throw in a skx pepsi insert.
asking $55 shipped first class in the conus only

also selling crafter blue curved end rubber strap for seiko skx’s, i bought from another member here but never used it. still in good condition.
