Yesterday I received my Tissot PR516 Quartz diver, which I wanted for a long time. I found one in Paraguay with great patina, but in not working condition. Bought it anyways, and I did kniw something about this watch, I still was amazed by the building quality of this block of steel. Allow me to sum up some of the things what makes this a piece of quality:
- Fully stainles steel (of course)
- Mineral glass
- Integrated signed NSA bracelet
- Tissot Cal. 2031 inside, which is a peculiar movement
- Magnetic protection cover underneath the caseback
- It's a diver, so luminous bezel, dial and hands (also of course)
So, I'm definitely going to restore this watch. Need a new glass and movement, should be do-able.
