I'm looking to purchase an upgrade to my Sumo. This will be my primary business and pleasure, ie, office and beach watch. The Sumo is great, but it's missing a couple of things for me. I've owned a lot of the major divers over the years, but don't have as much expendable cash as I used to and am looking for one primary quality diver. I've narrowed my search down to the Fortis B-42 and the Squale 50 Atmos (satin blasted). I've got a sub-7" wrist, so the size is OK for me. I've had a B-42 Marinemaster in the past and liked it, but never seen a Squale in the flesh. Two very different looking watches, and I'm OK with that. The only negatives right off the bat (to me) to the Fortis is the outer AR coating and the screwed lugs. Any opinions on build quality, quality control, etc are much appreciated. Cheers! :-!
