Hello,
I recently acquired a Sturmanskie chronograph with a 31659 movement from a Ukraine seller. It was advertised as being cleaned and completely overhauled. After initial testing it works well and keeps good time. Recently however I noticed an issue crop up. If the watch is freshly wound the chronograph works fine. However, if it has been more than about 16 hours since winding, the watch will stall with the chronograph running. It stalls at the point where the minute hand is advancing. Some shaking of the watch will get it going again and it will run fine until the next minute when it stalls again. Does anyone have ideas about what might be going on here? I'm wondering if I ought to return the watch or get it looked at. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken
