I had let my Sarb033 wind down while traveling and when I reset the time to get it started again, found that I could not quickset the date (only did it when hands were way past 2am). The hands are moving fine but the date wheel simply doesn't turn at all when the crown is in position 1 (although the date does change as per normal when the hour hand moves past 12).
Its still under warranty from Seiko, purchased from Chino. Should I just contact Chino and send it to them or is this a simple enough problem that I shouldn't risk the cross-Pacific jaunt?
