Polishing a Zenith watch with a pattern polish

Recently I sent a Zenith watch for service and it came back with a very faint scratch on the top of the case. The store offered to send it back to Zenith but the watchmaker told me that there is a chance I may not be happy with the result. He is saying that it may not look as good as the original polish. The polish has sort of spreading line pattern. He does not think they have the proper machine in Toronto, and most likely it will have to go to Switzerland in order to put the new pattern in. Even then he thinks there is a chance it may not look as sharp as the original polish. Did anyone have any experience with polishing their watch at Zenith?

BTW, I can confirm that 2 year warranty from Ashford is indeed a real Zenith warranty.
