August started off with me acquiring the following Oris;
It was my first bronze piece and I must say it was a daily wearer so far as I was interested to see the patina on the watch.The above photo was taken yesterday before I went to my regular dealer to browse through his stock. Bad move and I ended up trading two of my pieces for two at his place. One is a gift to my dad whilst the other was a belated birthday gift of a birth-year watch to myself. Without further ado, the two that left my stable are as follows;1. An earlier photo taken early this month. Watch was seldom worn so did not miss this much.
2. An earlier wrist shot. I do feel that I am going to miss this eventually but having given it some thought, I think I would go for an in-house 372 or 422 in the future.
Incoming were the following;
My dad always loved the Nautilus and was also intrigued by the Aquanaut so when the opportunity arises, I jumped at the chance of securing one. Above was a wristshot of the Aquanaut before it was re-sized to fit my dad's wrist.The next piece was a recently serviced GMT Master Ref:16700 for myself.
Overall, I am quite happy with the trade and must say that August was a very productive month. Time to get back to work to earn more in the hopes of obtaining another piece before the year ends. Thank you all for viewing.
