William L. 1985 looking for impressions and advice

I'm new to watches, but I just started an office job where I can't have my phone, plus it's time to grow up. I don't currently own a watch but I'm interested in picking one up.

I found a relatively new watch making company (~10 months) called William L. 1985. williaml1985 dot com is their site. They started on kickstarter and while I've found a ton of pretty pictures I have't been able to find any in depth reviews besides one article that wasn't in english, though the translation didn't seem to answer many questions.

I'm a big fan of their quartz chronograph model, black dial with the stainless braided bracelet and stainless case, currently 189 euro (~$210)

Does anyone have any experience with the company? or have any recommendations or reasons not to buy from them?

I'm really just looking for a good looking, durable, classic style watch that can live on my wrist for a long time. Chronograph is a bonus. I'd appreciate any recommendations beyond this company too. Preferably a little on the smaller side, I'm 5'7" tall and about 135 lbs with 6.5" wrists. I like the numbers all the way around the dial but the colors could be swapped (black numbers and white dial.)

*sorry I can't post links yet
