I've been looking at a GMT, and the watch I really want uses a 2836 instead of a 2893. From what I gather the 2836 is either a Hangzhou movement that people call an ETA2836 (likely), or an actual ETA 2836 that a third party has modified for GMT use (less likely).
All things being equal that makes the 2893 a no brainer, but like I said, the watch I really want uses a 2836.
2836 GMT owners, any caution or praise you'd like to offer for this movement? Accuracy, function of the GMT hand and staying in sync, etc.. Thanks
