FS - Citizen Promaster NY0040 w/ Custom Pepsi Bezel and Original Insert

Offered is a Citizen NY0040 Promaster with a replacement Pepsi bezel insert as well as the original insert if you want to go back to the pure experience. If you are reading this, you have probably seen the rising prices on this model due to persistent rumors of its discontinuation. I don't know about that, but this is a used watch in great shape, a real one of a kind given the bezel. You will not see one of these on the street. I never have. (If you pull the trigger and want to restore the original bezel, 1) you could probably sell the replacement bezel for $20 easy, and 2) I'll tell you how to do it, if you don't know how.)

The crystal, bezel and insert are flawless. The back has some light scratches, but nothing to go crazy about. Timekeeping is very good, always has been, and it comes on the original rubber strap. The only thing to report about this watch is the bezel 'click.' I've talked to other owners and some of them report the same thing - a slight click when you press down on the bezel, for me it is at the 6 o'clock position. I personally think it is kind of charming, but I could see how someone might find it annoying. Anyway, it does not affect the bezel function at all.
