As part of some house cleaning to make way for some new pieces I am grudgingly selling my Nezumi Voiture Chronograph white dial 1st Edition (limited to 350 pieces). It has seen only a couple of days' worth of wear and is suitably in pristine condition. The strap has never been worn.
This is in fact part of the First Edition inventory with the misspelled "Quarts" on the dial (which is noticeable upon inspection, not at a glance, as the contrast between the orange text and dial is very low.) But that is not why I am selling the watch. I have been critical of Nezumi's handling of that particular situation and won't rehash that here, but the misprint aside the watch itself is everything I expected it to be and is deserving of the praise it has received. The case is beautifully detailed with twisted lugs and saucer bezel, along with well brushed sides against polished surfaces to define the curves. The dial is beautifully laid out, and is more of a light cream than pure white. The geometry looks great and suitable for the period that influenced it. Other small details I appreciate are the snailed sub-dials, the applied markers that are "broken" by the outer chrono seconds track, and the way the small seconds dial is nestled between the 3/6 o'clock registers. Everything ties together extremely well. It's 40mm case diameter is suitable for the period, but wears with more presence than I expected thanks to the bold bezel and visual weight of the dial.
The case back features some nicely rendered etching. This is Serial No. 211 which I think is pretty cool as Nezumi was founded in 2011. Also included is the separate vintage mineral crystal as described in the Kickstarter campaign. It is packaged separately that you may have it replaced by a qualified watchmaker at your leisure.
