SKX 007 - Will it survive Everest Base Camp?

Hi team,

I will be doing an Everest Base Camp trek next week and I plan to take my SKX007 - 12 days, rain, mud, snow.

Would the SKX007 survive the horribly cold weather? Or would I be better off bringing the Tudor Prince (76214) as that has a pseudo Oyster case?

What horological preparatory things should I do prior to departing? Are there seals, etc that I need to check and be careful about?

Which strap should I use?
- Grey perlon?
- Black nato?
- Tricolor nato?
- Spectre (black and gret) nato?
- Bracelet?
