New Timex and Seiko Pick Ups! Which one is better?

Hey guys picked up two watches today the Timex for $15 and the Seiko for $25 my firsts of both brands. I have a 30 day return policy if I decide to not keep one or I could keep both but I'm still not sure! The Timex is in good condition but does not work and I really don't want to have to pay a lot to get it fixed up, has anyone seen this model before? Year? Finally is the Seiko (my favorite of the 2) Sportsmatic 25 jewel. So far it has been running, haven't seen the movement, will have pics tomorrow. Great looking watch except the wearing next to the crown, it's really worn down in that one spot, makes me mad because I really liked this watch, you guys think it's a problem? I figure this is from the 1960s? Any input is great! Thanks for looking.
