Hello all,
I have a Rolex 1675 1.2 mil s/n with papers dated 1967. The watch has a Mk4 service dial, insert and hands, as per Rolex service policy.
I have owned the watch for over 10 years and still enjoy wearing it, however I have recently considered returning the watch to it's original specs. This would involve sourcing a Mk 1 gilt dial, small 24 hour hand, and red back fat font bezel insert.
Obviously this is going to involve serious dollars to put such together, does the forum consider this a worthwhile project?
Perhaps it is best to live with the watch as it has lived it's life so far.
Look forward to hearing people's thoughts.
