Just bought a secondhand Marine 38. Originally purchased Feb 2016, hardly worn and in fantastic condition. However, on close inspection of the crystal under light you can see slight "stains". At first I thought it was adhesive residue but it won't rub off. I'm thinking if this is anything to do with the internal AR coatings. Perhaps they haven't properly set?? "sapphire, domed, with double anti-reflecting coatings on the interior side"
I'll try and take some pics but it will be very hard to see. It is more apparent with the pearl white dial.
Any ideas?
