My Panerai journey started around 6 years ago. Back then I was attracted by the size of the watch and the sheer simplicity of it. Looking back at photos of my collection, I realised I collected a fair bit from this brand before selling them as time goes by. My collection back then consists of the following watches;
Panerai Radiomir Base PAM210;

Panerai Luminor Base Destro PAM219;

Panerai Luminor Power Reserve PAM90;

and another Panerai Radiomir Black Seal PAM183 and a Panerai Luminor Marina Base Logo PAM005 which i dont seem to have a photo of either any longer. All of these had been sold somewhere down the line either to free up funds for new timepieces and/or to pay my bills. Still there is a deep yearning for me to own a Panerai as it is easily one of the most recognisable watch in the market. Not to mention the fact that I acquired and still own a few Panerai straps with the original buckle back from the day. I was searching for the right piece at my usual dealer dithering between the PAM389, PAM320 and PAM312 for weeks. Yesterday, I just pop by his shop whilst shopping for office supplies and equipment and walk away with the PAM Luminor Base Logo PAM000.
A customary wrist shot is in order;

This piece to me represents what I feel is the essence of Panerai namely the simplicity and perfect size. Now I am looking to reacquire the PAM210 again down the line.
Thanks for reading.
